Car rental conditions
Renting a car in Almaty and Astana will require only a few documents. Minimum bureaucracy, maximum convenience!
The conditions for renting a car at Vladex provide for a minimum package of documents:
For Individuals:
- ID or passport
- Driver’s license
Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan must provide an identity card and a driver’s license of the appropriate category to rent a car. To conclude a rental agreement, foreign citizens must provide a national passport and a driver’s license that meets the requirements of the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (APPENDIX No. 6); in some cases, an international driver’s license may be additionally required.
For legal entities:
- An application for renting a car in writing (in free form, on company letterhead), sent to e-mail: v-prokat@list.ru.
- Documents for a legal entity:
- Certificate of registration of a legal entity
- Bank details
- Extract from egov
- Copy of manager’s ID
- Order on the appointment of a director
- Power of attorney from the manager for the right to sign the lease agreement and the vehicle acceptance certificate
- For each person allowed to drive (driver):
- ID/Passport
- Driver’s license
- Minimum driver age: 23 years
- Driving experience of at least 3 years.
Our company provides car rental services in Almaty and Astana for persons over the age of 23 with at least 3 years of official driving experience.
Each additional driver named in the power of attorney must meet established requirements, such as being at least 23 years of age and having at least 3 years of driving experience. All obligations of the Lessee under the car rental agreement to the Lessor apply to each additional driver.
Terms of car rental
When you rent a car from us, we provide you with convenient and transparent rental conditions. The minimum rental period is 24 hours (1 day), and there are no restrictions on the maximum rental period. The checkout hour begins from the moment the car is provided and the rental agreement is signed.
Please note that exceeding the estimated hour when returning a car by more than 1 hour is paid as an additional day, regardless of the place of return. We do not have an hourly payment system.
Security deposit when renting a car
To ensure a hassle-free rental and security, rental conditions require a security deposit. The amount of the deposit will be agreed upon when signing the lease agreement and depends on the specific model of the car and the territory where it is used. This mechanism guarantees mutual protection of interests, providing you with confidence in the safety and serviceability of the car during rental.
Please note that the deposit for car rental is paid in cash only. This method provides additional privacy and convenience to our clients.
And if you comply with all the provisions of the rental agreement and the company’s rules, the deposit is returned when the car is returned in proper condition.
Rates
All our rates include full vehicle maintenance throughout the entire rental period. This includes regular maintenance, with the exception of washing, refueling the vehicle and eliminating defects caused by gross violation of operating rules on the part of the tenant.
In addition, the price includes compulsory civil liability insurance and voluntary CASCO insurance. Depending on the choice of tariffs, we also offer additional services for your comfort and satisfaction during your rental.
Payment Methods
Payment for rent is carried out with us in a way convenient for you – both in cash and by bank transfer using plastic cards (VISA, MASTERCARD, VISA ELECTRON, MAESTRO), as well as by bank transfer. When concluding a rental agreement, we accept payment in the amount of 100% for the entire rental period. This provides transparency and confidence for both us and you, allowing you to enjoy your rental without any hassle.
Early termination of the contract. A refund
To terminate the contract early, the Tenant is required to notify us at least 24 hours in advance. When returning the car upon delivery: The Lessee pays the cost of a full day at the time of returning the car, as well as an additional 1 day. The calculation is made in accordance with the Company’s current tariffs for the number of days actually passed at the time of return. If the contract is terminated early, all discounts provided will be cancelled.
Territory of operation
The territory of operation of the rented car must correspond to the selected tariff in the contract: “Almaty/Astana (no more than 70 km from the city)” or “All of Kazakhstan”. Traveling outside the specified territory is possible only after receiving permission from the Company and recorded in the lease agreement. This ensures clarity and consistency in using the vehicle in accordance with the terms of the contract.
Limitation on daily vehicle mileage
As part of the “All Kazakhstan” tariff, the rental conditions provide for a limit of 300 km of daily mileage, and if this limit is exceeded, an additional rate of 50 tenge is applied for each kilometer. For the “Almaty/Astana (no more than 70 km from the city)” tariff, there are no restrictions on daily mileage.
Car delivery and return
Delivery and return of a car outside the company’s offices and/or outside working hours is carried out only by prior order, which must be registered with the Company’s employees at least 6 hours before the scheduled time. This service is provided for an additional fee in accordance with the company’s tariffs for additional services (see Additional Services). When placing an order, you must indicate the place of delivery/return of the car, the exact address and contact phone number.
Refueling and washing the rental car
When renting out, the car is given to the Lessee in a clean condition with a full tank of gasoline. We ask you to return the car with a full tank when returning; the missing fuel is paid at the current market price. Also, the rental conditions provide for an additional fee for returning a dirty car, according to the tariffs for additional services of the Company (see Additional services). If the external condition of the vehicle upon return makes it difficult to inspect, the inspection will be carried out only after washing.
Additional services and equipment
To ensure your comfort, our company provides a number of additional services:
- Advance booking – FREE
- Delivery/return of the car in a place convenient for you (within the city of Almaty or Astana), including railway stations and airport:
- During working hours (9:00 – 21:00) – 6000 tenge
- Any non-working hours – 8000 tenge
- Extension of the lease agreement:
- In the office – FREE;
- With a visit to the client during working hours (9:00 – 21:00) – 6000 tenge
- With a visit to the client at any non-working time – 8000 tenge
- Returning a car unwashed:
- Passenger cars – 3000 tenge
- Jeeps – 4000 tenge
- Child seat rental:
- 500 tenge per day, but not more than 5000 tenge for the entire rental period
Along with the rented car, we are ready to provide you with additional equipment FREE OF CHARGE, including:
- Baby boosters and harness adapters
- Car charger for smartphone (except USB cable)
- Smartphone holder
- Radar detector
- Voltage inverter 12/220V (500V)
- Car ski rack
Please inform the manager about your desire to use additional equipment when booking a car. All accessories are subject to availability at the time of signing the contract.
Responsibility of the Lessee in case of damage to the car or theft.
The Tenant’s liability is insured under compulsory civil liability insurance and voluntary CASCO insurance. It is important to note that vehicle components such as the radio, tires, glass and other additional equipment are not covered by insurance and are not insured.
If the Lessee violates the terms of insurance, resulting in the impossibility of obtaining compensation for damage, the Lessee bears full financial responsibility for the damage caused. This liability includes the full cost of refurbishment and replacement parts, as well as third party claims.
Other responsibilities of the Tenant
The lessee is fully responsible for paying all fines incurred during the operation of the rented car, including fines for traffic violations recorded by photo-video cameras, and fines for unpaid parking during the operation of the vehicle. In addition, the Lessee undertakes to reimburse the costs incurred by the Lessor to pay these fines.
Please note that all costs associated with toll roads are also the responsibility of the Lessee and must be paid by the Lessee during the rental period.
